Three people died and 15 others were injured when a minivan carrying fireworks exploded in Tamil Nadu’s Villupuram district on Monday. The driver stopped the minivan after noticing fumes rising out of the vehicle and attempted to douse the fire. However, the minivan burned to ashes after an explosion and the fire reportedly spread to at least seven nearby buildings.
