Indian tourist stands on top of Buddhist shrine in Bhutan; detained
An Indian tourist has been detained by the Royal Bhutan Police for standing on top of a Buddhist shrine in Dochula. The tourist identified as Abhijit Ratan Hajare is a native of Maharashtra and was a part of a 15-bike convoy headed by a Bhutanese team leader. Hajare’s passport has been seized and an investigation has been launched.
