Mumbai High Court bans Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s film trailer

The Mumbai High Court has stayed the trailer of actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s film ‘Motichur Chaknachur’. The trailer of this film was supposed to be released on October 10 but the film’s trailer has been banned due to non-payment of the film’s writer’s full amount.
Significantly, the writer Dev Mitra Biswal had filed a petition in the Mumbai High Court for not paying his full fees on ‘Woodpecker Movies Private Limited’, the producer of the film ‘Motichur Chaknachur’. Dev Mitra Biswal was to get Rs 11 lakh to work in this film, but he was given only Rs 6 lakh, due to which he filed a petition in the court. Therefore, the trailer of the film cannot be released until the court reaches a conclusion.
