Protect an Enchanted Castle with your Princess in This Fairy-tale Game that keeps you Hooked!
Not everyone finds joy in bookish learning and the real world. There are some creative souls who aspire for things beyond the mortal realm and 17 year old Sam was one of them. He gazed out of the window, pushing back his dark brown hair as a dreamy look came on his face. He was surrounded by students in his classroom while the teacher's boring lecture droned on. But he wasn't paying attention and they had never seemed more far away.
The birds on the tree and soft blue skies outside the classroom window enchanted him. He couldn't hear the melodious hum of the trickling spring that gushed past the school building. He could just dream of splashing through the water on his way home as he would walk past the lush greenery of the beautiful countryside. Suddenly he realised that the prospect of heading home proved far more intriguing to him than the ideal of staying in the classroom.
So stood up and grabbed his backpack from the desk, pushed all his books into it and rushed out of the room in a hurry. His teacher yelled at him for interrupting class and asked him not to come back if he walked out through the door. But Sam didn't care. He was meant for bigger and greater things and he just knew it in his heart.
Soon as he got home he grabbed quick snack of boiled rice and nigiri that his mom had left for him. After changing into comfortable shorts and a t-shirt, he relaxed in front of the TV and decided to play a video game to take his mind off the fact that he had just dropped out of high school. From arcade games to puzzles, nothing seemed to capture his interest so he decided to take a walk to the nearby playground.
Sam kicked the stones along the way as he walked to the playground in a dejected state. The hot afternoon sun was blazing and he could feel the heat on his shoulders. The nearby playground was rustic. It had an old jungle gym, a swing set and a rusty slide. The real beauty lay in the lush green lawn, and the trees in the park that were filled with chattering birds and the scent of the wild chamomiles. He strolled across the park to a bench under the tree overlooking a scenic landscape.
Sam soon lay down shutting his eyes for just second. He never realised when he drifted off to sleep under the warm and cosy sunlight. All of a sudden it was like he was overcome by a strange dream. With his cotton soft white T-shirt drenched in sweat, and his heart pounding he realised he was running through a dark forest full of terrifyingly dark trees. There was not a stray ray of sunlight but he could hear the roar of what certainly seemed like a horrifying monster. Looking back over the shoulder Sam spotted the terrifying figure.
Covered in hair from top to toe except for terrifying red eyes it was a monster that appeared to feed on human souls. Well, Sam had no intention of being the next victim in the dark woods, so he decided to run for his life as far as his feet would carry him. As he raced and sped through the woods, it finally seemed like luck was on his side because he spotted a glimmer of sunlight shining through the trees.

Weary from running and parched with thirst, he crossed the forest and stopped in shock. Beyond the trees was a hidden world that was centred around a beautiful and towering castle. He would've called paradise if he wasn't lost for words. But tired from running and fraught with exhaustion, before he could take even one more step to explore the beautiful courtyard he passed out.

It seemed like just the very next second to Sam or maybe it was more, but he soon opened his eyes and found that he had woken up inside the castle. He looked around in fear hoping that the monster was nowhere near.

Sam: Arghh...My Head...(Both hands blooding and scarred by thorns)
**Suddenly a beautiful genie princess (Hika) with a pair of silver wings shows up, smiling and glowing**
He found to his delight and surprise that it was the beautiful Hika who was kneeling next to him. With mesmerizing long hair, regal robes and an ethereal glow, there was no doubt in his mind that this was a genie princess. Sam couldn't fathom his luck and sat up in a rush eager to talk to the genie with silver wings.
Hika: Are you feeling alright?
**Takes out a magic potion and allows a drop of magic dew on Sam’s scars**

Hika: Which clan are you from? Why have I never seen you before?
Sam: What clan...? I am human.
Hika: Human...? What’s that? A monster?
Sam: Nooo... I am no monster! I was chased by one and almost died... That ugly monster even tried to eat my soul! A-and who are you?
**(Sam starts quivering in fear seeing a non-human)**
Hika: I am Hika, a genie princess and protector of the hidden castle. And that monster must have been Karago, the guard of the dark forest.
Sam: A...a princess? And a fairy? Wow, that’s soo cool.

**All of a sudden, a leaf drops onto Sam’s face, wakes him up from this long dream**
He slowly sits up, and it’s already dusk in the park where he snoozed off. The warm sun is about to go down and it has been hours since the boy has been dreaming. Sam gradually opens his eyes. In a state of utter confusion, he decides to get up and his feet stomp onto the ground and his unruly mop of hair waves in the evening breeze. He shudders as goose bumps cover his body and he heads home but all along the way he is unable to shake the thought of the enchanting castle or the surreal Hika from his mind.
As the days pass him by, he tries in vain to reenter the ethereal dream which was more real to him than his life so far.

A month later…
Location: At home
Time: A month later (03/22/2020) at night
It has been a month since he dreamt of the mesmerizing castle. Exasperated, he browses through his phone as he lounges on the couch at home. With his parents at work there is seldom anything to do but unwind and find solace in the android world of apps. He is suddenly overwhelmed with sadness as he recollects that after that day, Sam has never dreamt again. But then all of a sudden, he finds something strange on his phone.

It is an app he has never seen before. He randomly clicks on it and lo and behold! Sam rediscovers the fantasy realm of Hika and Karago and this time, he has no intention of dozing off and letting it slip away!
