This is a delightful experience for all sweet lovers. This is an easy recipe to make at home. Also, it is the most popular sweet and made on the occasion such as Diwali or Raksha Bandhan. This Lips-smacking badam ka halwa recipe will be loved by all. Adding Saffron makes the halwa more delicious. Try this halwa at home and relish its sweet flavor with your friends and family. 
Ingredients: 
1 cup ghee
1 cup milk
2 1/2 cup sugar 
2 cups soaked almonds 
3 strands Saffron 
Preparations 
Soak the almonds in hot water for one hour. Once done, remove the outer cover and grind it to paste with milk, sugar and Saffron. Now take a heavy bottom pan and add half ghee in it. Heat it over a high flame. Once the ghee is heated add the paste and cook till the halwa thickness. Make sure to stir continuously as the halwa may get a burn from the bottom. In between add the remaining ghee in intervals and stir it. Once the halwa gets its consistency, switch off the flame. Serve it when it is hot to enjoy the flavor. You can garnish it with chopped almonds and Saffron strands.
