Pygmy three - Toed sloth is one of the slow moving animal in the world
The Pygmy three - tied sloth was first described by the Robert Andreson and the Charles Handley . Sloths can found in a small island near to Panama . There body structure can allows them to climb a tree very easily . The curved claws helps the sloth to keep a strong grip on tree branches .

These are found exclusively in the red mangroves of Isla Escudos De Veraguas island . Sloths are typically Grayish brown in colour . They have very shaggy fur . Instead of toes they have three claws to the front and hind feet . That allows them to easily hook onto tree branches . It feeds on leaves and red mangrove leaves . The main predators of sloths are leopard , jaguar and humans .

It is a slow moving animal . They attack predactor by swiping at them with their claws out . They have a very low energy lifestyle because of their week food style . Actually leaves are low in nutrition value . Sloth has a big stomach and it takes days to digest it's food .
