Champion batsman Sachin Tendulkar and West Indies bowler Courtney Walsh will coach Ricky Ponting XI and Shane Warne XI in a charity cricket match to raise funds for those affected by the Australian fire. According to Cricket Australia, the 'Bushfire Cricket Bash' will be played on February 8.

This match is being played on 'The Big Appeal', an important day related to the social concern of cricket. Tendulkar and Walsh will coach the team of Ricky Ponting, Shane Warne, Justin Langer, Adam Gilchrist, Brett Lee, Shane Watson, Michael Clarke, Alex Blackwell.
Steve Waugh and Mel Jones will also join the teams. Cricket Australia CEO Kevin Roberts said, "We are honored to welcome Sachin and Walsh to Australia."
