Amy Louise Jackson is British actress and model known for her work in Indian films. She began her modelling career at the age of 16, and went on to win the Miss Teen World competition in 2009. Subsequently, director A. L. Vijay cast her as the leading lady of the Tamil language period drama Madrasapattinam.
Jackson was born in Isle of Man to British Christianparents, Alan and Marguerita Jackson. She has an elder sister, Alicia who is also an actress. The family returned to their parents' home in Woolton, Liverpool, two years after Amy's birth so that her father, who works as a producer for BBC Radio Merseyside, could continue his media career.
Jackson attended St Edward's College, where she studied English Literature, Philosophy, and Ethics at A Level, a British school leaving certificate
Amy Jackson’s sporty side The diva was seen performing stunts and horse-riding in 'Singh Is Bliing'. However, the former beauty queen didn’t have to train for it as she had learnt riding ponies from her mother who is a horse-riding instructor, reports Mumbai Mirror. So when Prabhudheva was thinking of a rocking entry of the actress in the film, Amy advised arriving on a horse. Not only this, the diva also learnt martial arts for the film as she had to match up to Akshay Kumar.
