Sometimes we make decisions solely based on our career and our need to stick around. There are two classifications in the entertainment industry, one is bollywood and the other is television. Bollywood is considered the cup of tea of elite actors. Television is for those who couldn't make it to bollywood yet.
So there have been instances where once successful actors resorted to television serials to sustain in the entertainment industry. They accepted their fate and went along. Here are some examples:
Gracy Singh
She started from television, she became a bollywood success and then she ended up in television again, through Santoshi Maa.
Vivek Mushran
The ilu ilu boy looked promising but had to resort to television due to lack of offers.
Karisma Kapoor
She has had an immensely popular past in bollywood but has now realised that television is to be settled for.
Bhagyashree
She made a start in bollywood with a blockbuster movie but the success story didn't last too long when she chose to quit bollywood. Years later, bhagyashree was seen in TV serials like Laut Aao Trisha.
