This Fish Sold At 'Rs 13 Crores', Know What Is Its Specialty
Japan businessman Kiyoshi Kimura, popularly known as Japan Tuna King 'Tuna King' bought a tuna fish for $ 1.8 million (about 13 million rupees) at an auction on New Year's Eve. Kiyoshi made the highest bid of 276 kg of tuna on Sunday at the main fish market in the capital Tokyo.
This is the second highest bid for a tuna fish ever. Kiyoshi only bought 278 kg of tuna last year for $ 3.1 million (about Rs 22 crore). After purchasing tuna Kiyoshi said he would serve it to customers in his restaurant. Kiyoshi restaurant serves Japanese special thali sushi which serves sea fish with rice.
Tuna in marine fish is in great demand worldwide. According to the World Wildlife Fund, bluefin tuna is an endangered species of fish. Let me tell you that in January last year, in Japan, Tuna King Kiyoshi Kimura bought a giant tuna fish during the auction for $ 31 lakh i.e. about 21,55,27,500 rupees.

The BBC report said that the tuna fish bought by Tuna King Kiyoshi Kimura was 278 kilograms of bluefin tuna, an endangered species. In another incident last year, Dave Edward of the West Cork Chartered Company caught more than 230 million tuna fish off the coast of Ireland but released it back into the water.

According to the report of the Irish Mirror, the price of this fish (Atlantic bluefin tuna) could be found at more than 3 million euros (about 23 million). Dave Edward said that he was not commercial fishing, so left the fish.
