The release of Love Aaj Kal 2 on Valentine's Day is not shocking. Valentine's Day has become an abject gimmick nowadays and it certainly deserves a movie like this one.
The cast includes Sara Ali Khan, Kartik Aaryan and Randeep Hooda in the lead roles. An honest opinion is, Love Aaj Kal 2 will absolutely leave the audience heartbroken, more so if you're an ardent admirer Imtiaz Ali.

The only thought which haunts your head and heart after watching this film is what compelled Imitiaz Ali to tell a decade old tale, portrayed by modern age characters with millennial mindset. The off-screen chemistry of Kartik & Sara failed to ignite on-screen spark for the audience. Randeep Hooda is the only saving grace of the film who did justice with role and holds the plot to perfection.

A dull and awkward Veer (Kartik) meets a career conscious, mile high on life & booze Zoe (Sara) at a bar and, they end up in bed together. Abruptly, Veer stops in the middle, leaving her high and dry. The strange reason is that he feels they need to be more ‘serious’ before they make love.
He then turns into a stalker and joins the same co-working space where Zoe works. It is owned by Raghu (Randeep Hooda). Raghu is a serious loner character who once left everything in Udaipur to be with the girl he loved, Leena (Aarushi Sharma) in Delhi, but soon became a Casanova who hooked up with almost every woman he saw.

Besides the complex storyline, the music of the film performs a fine job in offering support to its confusing narrative. The meaningful lyrics and mood uplifting music tears away from the monotony of same flat things being excruciatingly hammered into our heads.
Love Aaj Kal 2 is a film exclusively made for the millennials. Watch only if you get free couple tickets and have no better V-Day plans with your better half.
