Years ago, polluting industries were shifted from Delhi to Gurgaon, Sonipat, Panipat, Faridabad, Noida etc. Today, air and water pollution has reached very dangerous condition in these cities. This concern is not only from Delhi. We need to learn from the disasters in Chennai, Kedarnath, Kashmir. Free services are being provided to promote public transport in Europe. India also needs to pay attention to this.
The question arises that why is air pollution increasing in Delhi and what steps are being taken by the government to stop it? This has been known to the government and society for decades, but both have remained indifferent about it. Neither the government nor the society seems serious about this problem. It is true that if the blind growth of vehicles in Delhi is controlled only, then to a large extent this problem can be relieved.
At our level, society also has to think what we can do to stop air pollution, because ultimately the society has to bear the consequences. However, the Central and Delhi Government have been reprimanded many times by the Delhi High Court. The National Green Tribunal (NGT) also continues to worry about the condition of air pollution from time to time, but Delhi and other states of the country have been adopting the chubby attitude towards its control.
In fact, from the Center to the State Governments feel a lot of pressure in front of the lobby of the companies making the car. Actually our policies of urban development are copy paste of Europe and Western countries. Apart from this, our politicians are unable to think, the serious consequences of which we are suffering. The NGT also has its limitations. The Tribunal says that 80 thousand trucks enter Delhi every day, this should be banned.
The number of registered trains in Delhi is more than 80 lakhs. If the trucks are banned from passing, then they have to be removed from Haryana, Rajasthan or Uttar Pradesh, because the supply of meat, grains, vegetables etc. from those trucks is supplied to Delhi and National Capital Territories. This was to remove the problem from its shoulders and place it on the shoulders of others.

Free services are being provided to promote public transport in Europe. India also needs to pay attention to this. Surprisingly, even when the government has all the facts, no such step has been taken in the last few years to reduce the poison spread in the Delhi air.
Before the Commonwealth Games, CNG kits were introduced in the trains to reduce the poisoning in the Delhi air, but later diesel cars were given such a boost that today the biggest reason for pollution has become diesel cars. However, it is also true that in any city of the country it is difficult to control the increasing pollution due to the government alone. For this, people will have to show awareness along with the government.
