BS6 Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight and Forty-Eight Special prices came out

Harley-Davidson has listed the prices of BS6 variants of its 2020 Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight and 2020 Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight Specials on the official website. The new H-D Forty-Eight has been priced at Rs 10.61 lakh (ex-showroom) and the H-D Forty-Eight Special has been priced at Rs 10.98 lakh (ex-showroom). Both bikes come with the same powertrain and design, but the only difference is the tallboy handlebars and 1970s-inspired custom paint schemes and graphics found in the Forty-Eight Special. Both of these have now become compliant with BS6 emission standards, which is going to come into effect from April 2020.
Talking about power specifications, it has an identical 1200 cc air-cooled V-twin engine which generates torque of 97 Nm at 4,250 rpm. As a transmission, it has 5-speed gearboxes. At the same time, talking about braking, dual-piston capillars are seen on both wheels. The H-D Forty-Eight and H-D Forty-Eight specials feature machined highlights with 16-inch 9-spoke cast aluminum wheels.
H-D Forty-Eight offers five color options – Vivid Black, River Rock Gray Denim, Stone Washed White Pearl, Performance Orange and Stilleto Red. At the same time, three paint options – Vivid Black, Billiard Red and White Pearl are available in the Forty-Eight Special.
Along with this, Harley-Davidson has also announced the prices of its 2020 Street Series motorcycle. The Harley-Davidson Street 750 and Harley-Davidson Street Rod are available in three color options. Recently, Harley-Davidson has also announced that it will be selling the Street Series for sale through Canteen Store Departments (CSD) nationwide. BS6 Harley-Davidson CBU models may have a slight delay in launch due to the lockdown in the US.
