Narendra Modi addressed the nation second time within 120 hours that is 5 days. He requested people by saying that "Please stay wherever you are". He said that from tonight the whole nation will go through lockdown for 21 days. He said that "People should put their health first and stay at home as a preventive measure. He also requested that people should forget about going outside.
"If we won't follow the nationwide lockdown for 21 days, we will be pushed back by 21 years. With folded hands, I appeal to people not to go out of their homes," he said. He said that if people do not follow the lockdown till 14 April that is 21 days from now, most of the families will get destroyed. He requested the people to not believe on the rumors spread by people. He also ordered that we should stay at home.
He also said that this lockdown is kind of curfew, but this is more strict. He said that "Janata Curfew showed how we Indians come together and fight against any trouble which comes before the country and mankind". He had also requested people to express gratitude towards doctors, nurses and ward boys. He ended his speech by saying that " This is the time to strengthen our resolve again and again" PM Modi said.
