School girl turns collector for a day in maharashtra

A school student girl became district collector in Maharashtra for one day. One such project was launched in the Buldhana district of Maharashtra in connection with the International Women's Day. The scheme implemented by District Magistrate Suman Rawat Chandra has received a huge claps in social media.
Chandra announced via social media that she is planning this event for women's day. Accordingly, the brightest students of the district were promised one day official duties.
Poonam Deshmukh, an 8th standard girl student was the first to be selected. District Magistrate Suman Rawat Chandra shared the tweet on Twitter with the caption "Poonam Deshmukh is the star of the Zilla Parishad School."

"Poonam confidently and inspirationally completed a day in office and pledged to work hard to inspire other students," Chandra said on Twitter.
The District Magistrate's scheme has received a tremendous boost in the cyber world. State ministers also responded that the scheme had inspired girls to pursue higher education and to attain great positions.

Many are demanding that such schemes be implemented across the country.
The initiative earned praise online, including from various ministers of the state, who said it was an inspiring step and will motivate young girls to take up higher studies and aspire for top posts. Many said the great initiative should be adopted across the country.
