A 45-year-old mechanical engineer from Hyderabad has found a unique idea to make petrol. Let us tell that the name of these engineer professor is Satish Kumar, who has made petrol from plastic. Satish Kumar claims that he can make petrol from plastic through three processes. As reported by News18, Satish Kumar has stated that through these processes, plastics can also be recycled to convert into diesel, aviation fuel and petrol.
400 liters of petrol can be produced from about 500 kg of non-recycled plastic. Satish Kumar says that in this simple process, neither water is required nor waste water is released. Not only this, it also does not spread pollution in the air.
Since the year 2016, Professor Satish Kumar has made 50 tons of petrol by recycling bad plastic. In today’s time, Satish Kumar’s company makes 200 liters of petrol from 200 kg of plastic daily, which his company sells in local industries for 40 to 50 rupees only.
According to the report, talking about its purpose, Satish Kumar said that our main objective behind starting this plant is to protect the environment. We are not expecting any kind of commercial benefit for this. We just have a small effort to keep the future clean. We are willing to share our technology with any entrepreneur if anyone shows interest.
