3 Different Types of Idli for Breakfast

Beetroot Idli:
  1. Soak 1cup of Urad Dal and 2 cups of Idli Rava in water separately for 4-5 hours.
  2. Grind Urad Dal and mix with rava without water.
  3. Add 1tsp salt to the batter and rest for 4 hours.
  4. Boil 2 medium sized Beetroot and grind like a paste.
  5. Now add Beetroot paste to Idli batter and ready to steam in a Idli cooker.
  6. Serve after 5 minutes.

Spinach Soft Idli:
  1. Boil spinach leaves, garlic, ginger and Cumin seeds for 10 to 15 minutes.
  2. Grind like a paste, add 2 tsp of curd and wait for 10 minutes
  3. Take a pan, pour 1 tsp of ghee.
  4. Add 1tsp of Muster seeds and Urad dal.
  5. Now add 2 tsp of crushed Cashews.
  6. Add Spinach paste and mix well.
  7. Steam in a Idli cooker and serve after 5 minutes.

Raagi Idli:
  1. Soak 1 cup of Urad Dal and 1/4 cup of poha in water separately for 5 hours.
  2. Grind it like paste without adding water.
  3. Add 1tsp of salt and Rest for 2 hours.
  4. Add 1 cup of Raagi powder to the Idly batter. Wait for 10 minutes.
  5. Steam in a Idli cooker and serve.
