Actor Ajith and actress Shalini fell in love with each other while shooting for the film amarkkalam.The film which is 25th film for actor Ajith was the first time the two actors were coming together on screen.
Today was the 20th anniversary of the film amarkalam its director saran who had seen the romance bloom in front of his eyes, shares how the actors ended up falling in love.Actor Ajith proposed to actress Shalini was unique and beautiful, says director saran and it happened on the shooting spot.They were shooting the interval block in srinivasa theatre in west mambalam chennai where most of the action happens.
Director saran says that they were shooting a scene where actor Ajith character would be rejecting the love of the heroine whereas in real life,he was conveying his love to the actress shalini and she was in a dilemma over it you cannot make up such a situation says saran.
Director saran also reveals that actor Ajith used to listen to the song sondha kuralil paada from the film amarkalam which was sung by actress Shalini,during their trip to ooty.Lets wish this gorgeous couple a good year ahead.
