Here is the recipe of cake with the use of Marie and Parle biscuits without the use of oven.
Ingredients:
- 1 packet of marie gold biscuit
- 1 packet of parle G biscuit
- 5 to 6 spoon powdered sugar ( adjust the sweetness as per your taste)
- ½ cup milk
- 1 spoon baking powder
- ½ spoon cardamom powder
- 1 spoon butter
- Butter paper
Method:
- Take a pressure cooker, spread half cup of salt in it and then put a triangle stand inside it.
- Take out the whistle of the lid and pre heat for 10 minutes on low to medium flame.
- Take a mixture jar, put all the biscuits making small pieces and make a smooth mixture. Don’t grind all the biscuits together as it will not grind properly.
- Take out the biscuit mixture into a bowl.
- Add sugar, baking powder and cardamom powder and mix it well.
- Now add milk and make a semi thick consistency cake batter. Mix it well in a single direction having no lumps.
- Add 1 spoon butter into the batter and mix it well.
- Take a bowl or cake tin, place butter paper and grease it with oil or butter.
- Now pour the cake batter into the cake tin or bowl.
- Tap the cake tin twice.
- Now put the cake tin into the pressure cooker, take care of your hand as the pressure cooker is hot.
- Cover the lid and let it bake for 25 to 30 minutes on low to medium flame.
- After 30 minutes check it by putting tooth pick or knife, if it comes out clean that means cake is baked if not then cook it for more 5 minutes.
- Let the cake cool down properly, then only take it out otherwise cake will break down.
- When the cake gets cool down completely, take a plate over the cake tin and flip slowly and take out the cake, remove butter paper.
Tasty Marie and Parle biscuit cake is ready to serve, cut it and serve it.
