Rava Ladoo is a super quick sweet recipe. It is made up of rava, coconut, sugar, ghee and nuts. It tastes very delicious. Let's see how to make Rava Ladoo.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/4 cup rava or semolina
- 1/4 cup desiccated coconut
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3-4 cardamoms
- 1/4 cup ghee
- 8-10 raisins
- 8-10 nuts
Method:
- Take a pan and heat 1-2 tbsp of ghee. After the ghee melts, add rava or semolina and fry it on a low flame until becomes aromatic and lightly golden.
- Keep stirring rava constantly. After it has become lightly golden, remove it to plate.
- Then add desiccated coconut to the same pan and fry it until it becomes golden or turns aromatic.
- Now, take a blender jar and add sugar and cardamom to it. Blend it into fine powder.
- Next add roasted rava and coconut to the same blender jar. You can blend it as your wish. You can blend it into soft powder or else slightly coarse.
- Take a pan and heat ghee. After ghee becomes hot, add cashews and fry until they turn golden.
- Then add raisins and fry until they swell.
- Now turn the flame off and half of the ghee to the rava and mix well.
- Take small portion of mixture in a hands and roll it into round small balls.
- After sometime, the mixture needs more ghee. Then add another remaining half of the ghee to the mixture and roll them into small round balls.
Rava Ladoos are ready and store them in a air tight container.
