1. MADHURI DIXIT
She initially studied to be a microbiologist, got her break from the movie "ABODH ", where she played a shy teenager, and got plenty of negative feedback from established actors. But post her incredible success, the "DHAK DHAK " girl, as she is usually called, has taken Bollywood to new heights.
2.KANGANA RANAUT
This girl from Himachal made a sensational debut with the Bhatt production Gangster. After this, she was handed a bunch of absurd roles in movies like Raaz: The Mystery Continues, Krrish 3 and even forgettable duds like Vaada Raha. But Kangana bounced back with strong roles in Queen and Tanu Weds Manu Returns.
3.VIDYA BALAN
The 38 year old actor had a pretty rough start, and was labelled 'jinxed' in the industry when her projects kept getting consistently shelved. When three of her films failed to take-off, she was even thrown out of another project because of the 'unlucky' stigma that stuck with her.
But she got major breakthrough from "PARINEETA" movie and rest is history........
4.DIPIKA PADUKONE

Her father was a badminton player, and in her early age she played badminton.But she was not much interested in that she left it and entered modelling. She made her debut with OM SHANTI OM movie. 2010-2011 was a bad time for DEEPIKA as she had a string of five flops, struggled with mental health issues and breakup but she turned her weakness into strength. She gave back to back hits counting from "GOLIYON KI RASLILA " to "BAJIRAO MASTANI ".
5.PRIYANKA CHOPRA

She is perfect example how to struggle with life. After being crowned Miss World in 2000 she made her debut in Bollywood as second female lead in movie "LOVE STORY OF A SPY" . With no special backing in the movie industry, Priyanka continued getting flop projects like LOVE STORY 2050, DRONA, CHAMKU, after which she was declared a failure.But critical acclaim came her way for roles in FASHION, KAMINEY , BARFI and she eventually landed in the hit biopic MARY KOM .After that she made debut as a singer in US. She also made headline with debut in AMERICAN TV series Quantico.
