Summer is the best time to have curd just plain or sweetened or in biryani, Lassi and Aloo Tikka etc. Here, the making process of curd, hope you all like it.
Stepwise Process Of Making Curd:
- First take a thick bottomed pan and rinse it water.
- Then add 1/2 litre of milk- about 2 cups of milk. Keep the pan on the stove top and begin to heat milk on a low to medium low flame.
- When the milk is getting heated stir once or twice, so that the milk doesn't get browned from the bottom.
- Let the milk come to a boil. Milk will froth and bubble when it comes to boil.
- You can heat milk to a temperature between 85 to 90 degrees Celsius.
- Switch off the flame. Remove the pan and keep aside. Then check the temperature of the pan and milk.
- Now take 1 to 2 teaspoon of curd starter and in the warm milk.
- With a wired whisk or a spoon, mix very well.
- Then pour this mixture in a bowl or a pan.
- Then cover the pan with a lid. Then keep at room temperature for 4 to 5 hours or till the curd is set. You can keep overnight also.
- Next day you will have a nice well set homemade curd.
