"Lord of the Rings" is considered to be the king of fantasy movies of all time. The movie is a trilogy directed by Peter Jackson and is based on the novel by JRR Tolkien. The brief plot of the story is basically about a powerful ring that comes into the hands of a small novice and innocent hobbit "Frodo Baggins" through his uncle "Bilbo Baggins". The enemy "Sauron" is badly in need of this ring to conquer the world. So the Frodo and his friend "Samwise Gamgee" set on from their home to destroy the ring once and for all. Each character in this movie plays a vital role in the development of the story. So what makes this movie the best? of, course there are a lot of other things but I will mention only a few things here and the others are suspense for you. You need to get to know that by yourself by watching the movie.
1.Friendship: This is the best thing about the movie. The friendship between Samwise Gamgee and Frodo Baggins is an absolute treat to watch. They are shown as a perfect example of friendship and what friendship is all about. Believe me you will be in tears for Samwise Gamgee by the end of the trilogy.
2.Music: The theme scored for this movie is top class and is very apt to every situation in the movie, especially for the war scenes. Believe me the theme during the war scenes will bring out so much emotion and a lot of other feelings in you.
3.Portrayal of nature: The way nature is portrayed in this movie can't be expected from any kind of movie. Though most of the movie scenes were graphical VFX but it'll make you enjoy the beauty of nature. Except for Shire(shot in New Zealand) most of the scenes were VFX made. So it is a 100% treat for your eyes. Don't miss it!!

4.War scenes: The war scenes shot in this movie is one of the best anyone could expect. It has laid the foundation for the movies and series that came later like Game of thrones, 300, Gladiator, and many others.
The portrayal of war scenes is filled with emotions which makes this movie stand out from other kinds of war movies.So to conclude I have described only a few about the movie as I am afraid that I may be leaving a spoiler to you

Among the three movies third part "Return of the King" is what I consider very close to my heart. There is no surprise that this movie bagged the most number of Oscar Awards equalling "Benhur".
Lord of the Rings is a perfect treat for fantasy lovers.
