We all know that actress Aishwarya Rai began her career as a model and in the year 1994, she won Miss World crown. Aishwarya Rai is one of the most beautiful and dignified actresses of Hindi cinema. The actress always chose to keep herself far from any sort of controversy. Even when Ash had an ugly broke up with ex-boyfriend Salman Khan, she chose to remain silent.
But there was a time when the actress had a face-off with actress Manisha koirala. It all happened when Manisha Koirala claimed in a magazine that Aishwarya's boyfriend Rajeev Mulchandani had dumped Aishwarya Rai for her. In the December 1999 issue of showtime Magazine, Aishwarya spoke about the whole issue and had thrashed Mainsha for her false claim.
According to Pinkvilla, Aishwarya apparently said, ''In the beginning of 1994, a leading magazine came out with this red hot scoop. Rajeev was supposed to have dumped me for Manisha. I called up Rajeev the moment I came to know about this asking what all the crap was about. Rajeev was a very good friend of mine nothing beyond that. I told him I didn't want to get roped into their love story. After two months, they weren't seeing each other. Manisha was seeing a different guy every second month''.
Time passed and Ash thought to congratulate Manisha for her work in Bombay, but from Rajeev she got to know that Manisha claimed that she had discovered some love letters that Rajeev had written to her.

9Aishwarya stated, "I could believe it! It came as a very rude shock to me. If that was the reason for her split with Rajeev in a couple of months, then why brood on it for nine whole months and then come out in the open".

Ash went on to add that this Manisha episode really affected her a lot in the beginning."I cried like crazy. I was really hurt miserable with all that was happening around. After saying so much she kept saying that she had been misquoted".
