 Due to the monsoon, heavy rain is on in many states of the country, the Indian Meteorological Department has said in its latest update that the monsoon has moved beyond the Bay of Bengal, due to which heavy rains are expected in many areas of the country. According to IMD, heavy rains are expected in the capital Delhi and NCR today, while there is a possibility of a thunderstorm in Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Punjab and Haryana, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert here about the rain.
 Red Alert in Telangana, Karnataka and Goa
 So there is a possibility of heavy rains in South India i.e. Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Goa- Konkan region today, there are strong winds, due to which the Meteorological Department has issued a red alert here. According to it, in the next few hours, in Amroha, Moradabad, Bijnor, Lakhimpur Kheri, Pilibhit and Bahraich of UP, there may be heavy rains within the next few hours, which can relieve people from the heat.
 Skymet also warned
 Whereas, according to Skymet, light to moderate rains may occur over the next 24 hours in coastal Andhra Pradesh, south coastal Odisha, Telangana, Karnataka, Konkan and Goa, eastern parts of Gujarat, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura during the next 24 hours. Heavy rainfall is also expected at one or two places. Northeast India and parts of East Bihar are likely to receive rain, while this process of rain is likely to continue for the next two days.
 Possibility of torrential rains in many states
 There are chances of torrential rains in many states, due to the pressure in the Bay of Bengal, there is a possibility of thunderstorms in 10 states of the country during the next 48 hours. IMD has said that there is a possibility of heavy rains in Gujarat, Damandeep, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, North East, UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, MP, Chhattisgarh, Punjab, Haryana, Meteorological Department has kept everyone alert Have asked for
