On the special of World Environment Day Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla told how she became environmentally aware.

On this special occasion of World Environment Day Bollywoodlife spoke to Bollywood veteran actress Juhi Chawla. Meanwhile the actress gave many suggestions from banning plastic to protecting the environment and she also gave many tips to make people aware of it. Also told how Shahrukh Khan fulfilled his demands.

Talking about the environment with Bollywood Life she said that I was completely ignorant of the environment and when I used to talk about the environment and awareness of the environment I always wondered what it was about are doing. But when I came to know about it I reached from one end of this spectrum to the other within a few years. We have a factory in Uganda and while working in this factory smoke comes out in the air which is part of pollution.

Seeing this when I asked my brother-in-law about this he told me something about plastic pollution. Said do you know that there are plastic islands in the sea. I was surprised to hear that there are also plastic islands. Later I came to know that these are floating plastic islands. And it is in every ocean of the world. He further said that All these things were very surprising for me and it changed me completely. I used to think that I am a educated person and I have traveled the world. But when I heard about all these things I was completely broken inside.

Then I thought what are we doing. Even in school if we are not being taught to protect nature it means that what we have learned so far. We all learn in school how to use it how to misuse it for our convenience and never wanted to see beyond it. Revealing his business and awareness against the environment Juhi revealed that This is the one thing that we have raised When I came to know about the danger of plastics I did it on every platform Go and make people aware of this. I have a KKR team. Therefore I keep making people aware by using every avenue. I started it with KKR. And thank God that Shahrukh Khan always supported me in all these things and agreed with me. Nearly three years ago we got rid of plastic stuff to a great extent in the stadium of Eden Gardens.
