Madrid: Atletico Madrid's troubles continued and they played 1–1 draw against Athletic Bilbao in their football match on Sunday in the resumption of the Spanish season. This is his third consecutive draw in the Spanish League. This puts Diego Simeone's team in sixth place and out of the Champions League spot.
The goal was scored by Iker Munien for Athletic Bilbao at the empty San Mames Stadium without an audience. Atletico then equalized with a goal from Diego Costa for which it was the 13th league draw and has won only two of the last nine league matches. The league is restored on Thursday after three months due to a suspension caused by the Corona virus. Barcelona thrashed Marloka 4–0 on Saturday.
