Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Nishank Pokhriyal has said that schools and colleges will be reopened after August 2020, reducing the uneasiness of children, teachers, and parents regarding schools. Educational institutions may be opened from 15 August 2020 onwards.
According to the minister, schools can be reopened by August 15 after completing and then declaring the results of board examinations.
Pokhriyal further said that people serious about the study want to conduct the examination and the government is making adequate arrangements to ensure their safety.
The minister's remarks came amid 'Unlock 1', under which the Union Home Ministry said that a decision would be taken to open the schools after receiving feedback from the states.
Significantly due to the epidemic coronavirus, schools across the country have been closed since March. In such a situation, online studies are being done through school-colleges and coaching.
