India is the place where many great cricketers are born who played for Indian team and make India proud in the whole world. There are some players born in India who plays for some other countries and perfom better than that country's players. Some has also became the coach other staffs of that team. Vikram Solanki, a Rajsthan born player is also one of them. Vikram has been appointed the head coach of England's Surrey County Cricket Club. He is appointed the head coach inthe place of Michel de Venuto, who was the previous coach and also was Solanki Mitchell's assistant coach.
Vikram was born in India on 1 April 1976 in Udaipur, Rajasthan and is about 44 years old. Vikram went England and settled there with his parents at the age of eight, and has been loving there since then. Vikram made his debut for the England team in the year 2000 and played 51 ODI and 3 T20 matches. He has also played 325 first-class matches in domestic cricket. After that he announced his retirement in the year 2016. Soon after his retirement he started coaching for one of the well-known cricket club of England, Surrey cricket Club.
He has also worked as the assistant coach of Virat Kohli Captained team Royal Challangers Banglore in the IPL. After appointing as the coach of the club he looks very glad and said, "I am very glad to be the head coach of Surrey cricket club. We have many talented players here and will all try to do well in the format." Solanki has been the Interim Chief Executive of the Association of Professional Cricketers. He served there for 3 years from 2009 to 2012. After that, he also held the position of President of the Federation of International Cricketers Association (FICA).
