With the help of these tips, paneer will remain fresh for a long time, definitely try it

There are many rules and regulations related to the kitchen which, if taken care of, can keep the food items fresh for a long time. Especially if the food items are stored properly, they do not spoil quickly. One of these is cheese. Despite being a dairy item, you can store the cheese for a long time. If you store the cheese properly, then you will be able to keep it fresh for 2 days to a month. So let's know about these tips.
Keep cottage cheese in water
If you have to store the cheese for one to two days, for this you will have to fill water in a pot and put the cheese in it and keep it inside the fridge. Keep in mind that the cheese is completely submerged in water. If the cheese is not completely submerged in water then it will become hard and it will also get sour. In this case, the taste of the cheese will be spoiled. This type of cheese turns yellow in appearance.
Keep cottage cheese in saltwater
If you want to keep the paneer fresh for a week, then the method of storing it changes slightly. You have to fill water in a bowl and dissolve a teaspoon of salt. Now you add cheese to it. Make sure that the cheese is well immersed in water. Now cover the bowl. After 2 days you change both the bowl and the water. You do this every 2 days throughout the week. In this way, you can store the paneer for weeks to 10 days.
Keep cheese in a zip bag
If you want to store the cheese for a month, then the method is different. You have to cut the cheese into pieces. Place these pieces in a tray and keep that tray inside the freezer. When the cheese becomes hard like ice, put it in a zip bag and keep it inside the freezer. When you want to make paneer vegetable, remove it from the freezer and dip it in lukewarm water for some time first. After that, you will see that it will become soft. In this way, you can use this paneer for a month.
Some more tips
- Tear the cheese with curd, vinegar, and lemon juice. This makes the paneer soft.
- Do not throw away the remaining water after tearing the cheese. Store this water and the next time you tear the cheese, you can use it.
- After tearing the cheese, wash it once with cold water, it will remove the sourness of curd, vinegar, or lemon, whichever you have torn and the taste of the cheese will remain good for a long time.
