How to deal with stress ?


It's difficult to deal with anxiety and depression. Stress is one of the important reason for that. And not many people know how to deal with or how to process it. Hence it's important to understand 'how to control your mental stress?'. And in this article we take a look and various ways by which strong people often deal with stress.

1. Learn to let go :
Stress is roadblock between your path of life. It is nothing but a by-product of life not fitting your pictures. You want life to look in a specific way, you want people to be exactly as you expected and whenever those assumption are broken , in your psyche you are attaching that meaning will result in you feeling anxious. The question you should ask is, who made up this rules or expectations? And one of the things you should learn is to let go. Let go of the pictures you've got in your mind in regards to what life should look like. Because you are living life right now.
Every second is a moment in your life. Hence don't try to control of the outside, which is beyond our reach. You can't control that. Let it be. But control your reaction to it. You have made up those rules based on your experience , upbringing ,or what you have seen or studied in your own psychology. This, you are able to change them as well. Relax, let go of control of things in the outer world. Nothing is under control. And when you are at total peace with that, when you are calm in a storm , that's when you realise, you can be at peace , this very moment. Be present in the moment.

2. Strong winds:
The successful people are that because they can handle enormous amount of workload but still perform at whole another level. And reason for that is, they can handle strong winds. Whatever meaning you have given to your life and work will either drive you to success or to failure. Successful people don't problems or obstacles like issues they see the opportunity. An opportunity to better their performance.  And whenever life is bringing you the winds , don't say that you don't want it. Realise what it is doing. Strengthening you, nourishing you and trying to give you an opportunity to better yourself. It's a blessing in disguise. So whenever we are dealing with bad news , we should be at peace.

3. Interrupt : 
Whenever we are going through stress, we are caught up in a repeating cycle. In order to stop feeling this emotion, we need to get out. So whenever we are in working and feel stress , break that pattern. Take a day off, if you haven't for a long time. Go out into the nature , and when you come back you will have more clarity. Life becomes what it means to us. Learn how to do this.

4. Disconnect:
Whenever you feel stressed, you should not turn to digital devices. For instance email notifications , Facebook , whatsapp notifications, a lot of messages might feel overwhelming to you. So just disconnect. You should have a ritual throughout the day where you can really calm your mind. Meditation, yoga are also helpful. You will notice tremendous difference.
