On 1963 October 31st a 6-year-old child named Michael killed his elder sister Judith with the help of a kitchen knife in their home. Because of this crime, he got imprisoned at Smiths Grove Sanitarium. Fifteen years later Michael's psychiatrist (Dr.Samuel) and his colleague arrived at the Sanitarium to shift Michael to the court. At that time Michael stole their car and escape from there to Haddonfield.
On his way to Haddonfield, he kills a mechanic for the dress and steals a white mask and knives from a local Hardware Store.
