We all know Robert Downey Jr. as the brave and strong Iron man from Avengers series. But have you ever heard about the struggles he had to overcome? His life was filled with failures and troubles form a very young age.
When he was only 7 years old, his father made him use drugs. The intention of the father was to strengthen the bond between his son. Eventually Downey Jr. became addicted to drug. He dropped out of high school and continued to do movies. But beyond the stardom, he was struggling with the drug addiction.
Soon he got married and the couple had a son. But a family life couldn’t rescue him from his drug usage. One day Downey Jr. got arrested for keeping drugs. Unable to recover from the shock, his wife divorced him and left with their son.
But even this punishment hasn’t had the capability to change his bad habits. He continued to do drugs and got arrested multiple times. At one point, he started fighting with his roommates in the jail, which caused more trouble and mental trauma.
Eventually after years, he got released. But his life wasn’t the same as before. Nobody offered him movies and he started doing jobs like pizza delivery.

One day he met Susan Levin and fell in love with her. But she refused to accept his proposal and demanded him to give up drug use. He was given with a choice and he chose love and life over drugs. After months of treatment and self-control, Downey Jr. slowly recovered. He stated acting in Avengers and Iron man got fans all over the world.

Susan married him and they had children. Robert Downey Jr. is now a complete family man and a living proof that love can change lives and make miracles happen. Stay addicted to life and miracles will follow.
