Samantha completed her schooling at Se. Stephens Matriculation School, Pallavaram and Holy Angels Anglo-Indian Higher Secondary School, Chennai. Samantha graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Stella Maris College, Chennai.
Samantha began her career debuting 2010 Telugu romantic movie ‘Ye Maaya Chesave‘ which was directed by Gautham Menon. She won Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut South and Nandi Award in the year 2012 with her performance in the movie Ye Maaya Chesave.
