Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor starrer 'Laal Singh Chaddha' gets a new release date, to hit the screens in Christmas 2021


Bollywood film release dates are being shuffled thanks to the global pandemic situation. With shoots pending the movies being postponed, Aamir Khan has also decided to change the release date of his next film by a year. Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, that was initially scheduled to hit the screens during Christmas 2020 has now been shifted to Christmas 2021.

‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is the Hindi remake of Oscar winning Hollywood film 'Forrest Gump’, that featured Tom Hanks in the lead. The film has already been shot in a few parts in Chandigarh and Kolkata, before the nationwide lockdown was announced. Aamir Khan is currently on a recce in Turkey, scouting for new locations for ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. Aamir Khan has turned a Sikh man for the film and his turban clad pictures were released previously. Shifting the release date of ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, Mr Perfectionist of Bollywood has assured that the film gets a grand opening in theatres. Apart from Aamir and Kareena, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ will also feature Mona Singh in a pivotal role. The film is adapted by Atul Kulkarni, and is being directed by Advait Chandan.

In her career so far in Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor Khan has time and again revealed how many films she has refused to do for reasons best known to her and one of them is Rohit Shetty’s ‘Chennai Express’. The ‘Heroine’ actress could not take up the Shah Rukh Khan starrer because she was busy with Aamir Khan starrer ‘Talaash’.
Yes, you read it right. Talking about the same in an interview in the past, Kareena revealed that Rohit Shetty wanted her in ‘Chennai Express’.

Ira Khan, daughter of Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, enjoys a fan following over social media and is one of the popular star kids of Bollywood out there! Currently, she is on a fitness spree.
In her latest video shared on Instagram story, Ira can be seen trying to perfect the Shirshasana or the Yoga headstand.
"And then everything got very confusing. We'll try again tomorrow," she captioned the video sounding unsure about her attempt at the asana.
Earlier this month, Ira moved to a new house and shared the news on Instagram along with photographs.
