Amid some protests by Shiv Sena workers, now Kangana has been provided with Y category security by the Central Government. That is, when Kangana will land at the Mumbai airport, security personnel will be present with her.
Kangana Ranaut has got the security of Y category, know what happens under it?
In the Y level security provided by the Ministry of Home Affairs, those VIPs have got 11 security personnel under it. They also include 1 or 2 commandos and 2 PSOs. Last year, the central government had given protection to more than 11 people in the Y category, which included UP Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma. That is, Kangana will be accompanied by 1 or 2 commandos, 2 PSOs and other policemen. The total number of soldiers will be 11.
What protections are provided?
Let us tell you that the security is provided by the Union Home Ministry at different levels in the country. From these leaders to other VIPs, who face any kind of danger, they are given protection according to the threat. These have X, Y, Z, Z + level protections.
Two policemen in X category, 11 jawans in Y category, 22 in Z, which also includes NSG commandos. Whereas in Z + security, a total of 36 personnel including NSG commandos are engaged in security. Above this, only the SPG level is protected, which is with the Prime Minister.
A dispute has been going on between Kangana Ranaut and the Maharashtra government since the past. Kangana accused the Mumbai police of negligence and drugs connection in the Sushant case, after which the Maharashtra government was targeted. Then the verbal war between Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut and Kangana started. After this, Shiv Sena workers had burnt effigies of Kangana and told not to return to Mumbai, in such a situation, Kangana has now been given protection.
