Tushar Deshpande and Lalit Yadav, who are going to make their IPL debut for Delhi Capitals, are expected to do well this season.
Delhi has bought Tushar and Lalit for Rs 20-2 lakh for this season of IPL. Delhi has got a bowler as Tushar and a batsman as Lalit. Both these players are very excited about the IPL. The 13th season of the IPL is scheduled to be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from 19 September to 10 November.
Tushar said, "This is my first IPL, obviously it is special for me. Even more special to me is that I like to bowl and finally I will bowl now. Bowling after six months is a different challenge.
The 25-year-old bowler said, "All the bowlers in the team are my seniors." It is a great opportunity for me to play in the IPL because after making my debut, I will get feedback from senior players which will be helpful for me to strategize during the match.
The 23-year-old Lalit said, "I already know some of the players from Delhi because of playing domestic cricket which includes Ishant Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, and Rishabh Pant, and now I will get to know other players as well. IPL is a big opportunity for a young player like me and I hope that I will do well in it.
He said, "Delhi's team is one that promotes young players. There are many examples of this in our team. Players like our captain Shreyas Iyer, Prithvi Shaw, and Pant are examples of this. This is the right opportunity for me. I also want to represent India by performing better like them.”
