The Redmi Smart Band is now officially launched in India. With this, Redmi will continue to advance in the affordable accessories market. This is the first wearable of Redmi.
After splitting from the Mi, Redmi launched power banks and earphones in India. Redmi Smart Band has also joined this list.
Redmi Smart Band Specs and Features
Redmi Smart Band has a 1.08-inch color display in a rectangular body. It is a touch screen panel with swipe gesture support. You get five levels of brightness. Just below the display, you also get a capacitive button for control. Like the last-gen Mi Band 4, the Redmi Smart Band also comes with support for different watch faces. You can choose the face of the watch from an online store within the Xiaomi Wear app.
The watch comes with an interchangeable strap and is available in four strap colors - Black, Blue, Green, and Orange. With a single charge, the Redmi band will last for two weeks and it charges directly via plugging into the USB Type-A port.
Talking about the features of the Redmi Smart Band, it is a fitness tracker and can track your workouts such as outdoor running, walking, treadmill, cycling, and freestyle. When you sit somewhere empty for an hour, it will display your steps, calorie burn, distance cover, and alert. Also, there is a heart rate monitoring that you can set from 1-minute intervals to 30-minute intervals.
Redmi Smart Band uses Bluetooth 4.2 and can be connected to your smartphone through the Xiaomi Wear application. It is also able to show you the information that you get from all the apps on your phone. Other features of the Redmi Smart Band include weather, alarm, sleep tracking, music control, stopwatch, 5ATM water-resistant, caller ID, and timer.
Price and Availability The Redmi Smart Band is priced at Rs 1,599 and will be available on Amazon, Mi.com, and offline stores from September 9.
