After the report of a cyber expert, Google has removed many dangerous apps from the Play Store. Malware was hidden in these apps. Users of these apps were increasing.
Cyber security experts have found many such dangerous apps available on the Google Play Store, which were found to be infected with clown malware. These applications had been downloaded more than two lakh times till now. According to a report, these apps include apps like Convenant Scanner 2, Safety Applock, Push Message - Texting & SMS, Emoji Wallpaper, Sapart Dock Scanner and Fingertip Gamebox.
Previous Removals
According to the report, these apps have been removed from the Google Play Store, although the smartphones in which these apps are still present have been advised to delete them immediately. Actually, after the Joker enters the malware device, the users subscribe to the premium service without knowing anything. Prior to this, from 2017, Google has removed 1700 such apps from the Play Store which were found to be infected with Joker malware. However, these apps take a different form to the Play Store.
Delete this app in your phone
Safety AppLock's function was to lock an app with a pattern or password from the deleted app. Push Message-Texting & SMS was an SMS and messaging app, in which you could customize from ringtones to vibration patterns. Apart from these, the Emoji Wallpaper app was used to change the background of the phone. Separate Doc Scanner was also a document scanner app. All these apps have been removed from the play store, if these dangerous apps are present in your phone then delete them immediately.
