We have very little left to take a first look at the moving images of Doon. Warner has confirmed that the first trailer of Dennis Villanueva's film will arrive soon.
One of the greatest films to have made its premiere in 2020, Dunne, is a new adaptation of Frank Herbert's sci-fi novel that will surround director Dennis Villeneuve (The Arrival, Blade Runner 2049) with a brilliant cast. The film's first images appeared online a few months ago, provoking mixed reactions from fans eager to return to the Arangis, waging a brutal war on the Melange spice.
A few weeks ago, it became rumored that Dunne's first trailer might arrive in August, which coincides with the premiere of the tent, also Warner's. However, according to ComicBook, the trailer will not reach the network until September 9.
Nevertheless, it will be screened in cinemas (at least in the United States) for those coming to see Christopher Nolan's new. Warner has also warned that although the film is still to be released in December, there may be a delay if the situation does not return to normal by then.
There is a high expectation around Doon's new film. The previous two film adaptations did not live up to Frank Herbert's novel. Notably, David Lynch's 1982film, which despite being a cult classic for many, offers substandard montage on both visual and sound levels. Apart from generating a tremendously confusing narrative, even Sting's presence with his newly escaped face from the psychiatry ward could not be straightforward.
