Radhika Apte was born on 7th September 1985 in Vellore Tamil Nadu. She belongs to a Marathi family. She has a younger brother named Ketan. Both her parents are doctors. Her parent is also a chairman of Sahyadri Hodpitsl in Pune. She likes reading, dancing, listening songs and enjoying with friends. She completed her schooling from Tilak Nagar High School in Maharasthra. He went to the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London and completed her graduation in the diploma in dance studios. Her favourite subject is mathematics and she learnt it from her grandmother, who had completed PhD in mathematics from France University. She learnt kathak by training for eight years. She participated in many plays and dramas, while she was in school. He is a dog lover and owns a pet dog. She is a multi-talented person.
Radhika made her debut in bollywood by playing the role of Anjali in movie Vaah! Life Ho To Aisi in 2005. She also acted in movies like Kaunn Kitne Pani Me, The Bright X-ray, Shor in the City, Rakht Charitra 2, Pad Man etc. Some of her Marathi films are Lai Bhari, Ha Bharat Maza, Tukaram and Postcard. She acted in few english films are A Call to Spy, The Wedding Guest and The Ashram. She also acted in bengali, tamil, malayalam and telgu movies. She appeared in few short films are Vakratunda Swaha, That Day After Everyday, The Calling, Kriti etc. She also acted in series like Sacred Games, Stories by Rabindranath Tagore and Ghoul.
She won many awards like "Best Actress in an International Narrative Feature Film", "Woman of the Year", "Best Breakthrough Artist", "Excellence in Acting", "Flawless Face" etc. She was dating the actor Tusshar Kapoor. She married the hollywood music director Benedict Tylor in 2011.
