2) Sitting

Sitting is the most basic abdominal exercise. With your knees bent and your feet planted on the floor, lift your upper body off the floor to a full sitting position and then return to the starting position. If your feet move or come off the ground during the sitting exercise, ask someone to help you during the workout by holding your feet firmly towards the ground.

3) Ball Crunch Stability

Beginners who find the standard sitting exercise uncomfortable on their back should perform this workout instead. However, this exercise is not just for beginners because it improves the stabilizer and abdominal muscles.

4) Tuck Knees Sit up

This is a fun alternative to the standard sit-down function. Begin by lying on your back with your legs and arms extended. As you begin the crunching motion, bend your knees and pull her toward your chest. At the same time, reach for your feet with your arms extended like the example above.

5) Bike crunch

This exercise is appropriately called the bicycle crunch, as it incorporates pedaling motion. Start with both hands behind your head for support and both legs straight. Be careful not to pull on the head and cause possible neck discomfort. Next, bring an elbow and opposite leg towards each other, as shown in the picture. Once these two body parts touch, return to the starting position and repeat with the other elbow and knee. Continue alternating sides for a complete workout.

6) Mountain climber

The mountaineer is an impressive exercise because it requires you to train your abdominal muscles and work on your cardio. To begin this exercise, start in a push-up position. Just alternate bringing your knees to your chest to reap the benefits. There are several variations on this exercise, but use this as a starting point before trying the others.
