method:

The very first and basic thing what we have to do is boil the potato and mutter together until you get perfect boiled texture after then using a masher mash it corasly do not over mash it we want some chuncks of potato in our gravy after then in a mixing jar add coconut, cashews, jaggery, tamarind, popy seeds (khuskhus) and then add some water about 6 tsp and grind it to smooth paste.

Now in a pan add 2 TSP of oil and let it get heated up then reduce the flame to low and then add funnel seeds, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves and bay leaf after then add chopped onion to it and saute until the onion turns translucent then add green chili, kashmiri red chili powder, turmeric powder and saute for 2 minutes then add the coconut masala paste which we prepared earlier and saute and cook for 4 minutes then add mashed potato and mutter to it and mix well and cook for 2 more minutes after then add cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and saute well finally add 2 cups of water and mix it well then add salt to it according to your taste then add coriander leaves to it after you get one boil then off the flame and serve it with dosa and naan etc. Enjoy this dish with your family and friends.
