Matar Paneer is a very popular vegetarian dish from North India. This dish is made with cottage cheese, peas, and Indian spices. It is often served with roti, paratha, naan, or rice. Today, we will see the Dhaba Style Recipe of Matar Paneer.
- 2 medium-sized chopped onions
- 3 medium-sized tomatoes,
- ½ inch ginger
- few garlic cloves
- 1 to 2 green chilies
- 2 tbsp coriander leaves
- 5-6 whole black pepper
- cinnamon
- coriander seeds
- 2 to 3 cloves.
Instructions required:
1.Grind all the above-mentioned ingredients for gravy and make a smooth paste. In the pan(Kadai) add some ghee. Add ½ tsp cumin seeds. Add the ground masala paste and stir well for 10 to 12 minutes on a low flame till the oil separates from the paste.
3. Add the paneer cubes and cook it on a low flame till the paneer cubes are cooked. Garnish the Matar paneer with chopped coriander leaves.
