Nissan recently unveiled the Magnite sub-four-meter SUV, which marks the entry of Japanese carmakers into one of the most competitive segments in the country.

Kia Sonnet, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexus, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford Ecosport. Magnite will compete with other models.

Nissan claims that the Magnite will be the most affordable model in this segment, however, the feature list of the vehicle certainly does not seem so.

The sub-four meter SUV is packed with features and we have compiled a list of the top five segment first features available for the upcoming car.

1. Around View Monitor (360 degree camera)

The surround view monitor is basically a 360 degree camera that gives the car's bird's eye view. You can toggle between rear view, bird's eye view and right hand camera to facilitate parallel and vertical parking. It also has a front camera to make it easier to get out of tight spaces.

2. Seven inch full-digital TFT instrument cluster

While few cars in the segment will get a digital display on the instrument cluster, Nissan has raised the bar by introducing a 7.0-inch TFT full digital instrument cluster on the magnet.

3. Rear armrest that comes with the mobile holder

While a rear armrest is a common sight in the subcompact SUV segment, the Magnite's rear armrest comes with two cup holders. If this is not enough, you will also get a dedicated mobile holder. This is the first of its kind in the segment.

4. Wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay

Android Auto and Apple CarPlay have become a common connectivity feature that is offered even in entry level cars today. However, to make it even more convenient, Nissan Magnite offers wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, which means you can skip all the USB cables in your car.

5. Eco Function, Color & Welcome Animation

The driving eco function rates your driving and gives you a score, thereby suggesting ways to improve efficient driving skills.

Plus, when you turn on the ignition of the Nissan Magnite, the TFT Digital Instrument Cluster greets you with a unique animation. This is one of the most common types of high quality cars.

The Flare Garnet Red paint scheme, originally exhibited by Nissan Magnite, is actually a four coat color, which depicts slightly different colors when viewed from different angles. This is definitely not something that other manufacturers have tried.
