Masala Macaroni is a pasta dish with a desi or Indian twist. This Indian style paste is spicy, loaded with cheese, and is perfect to serve for breakfast or lunch. Masala macaroni is super tasty with a mixture of some Indian spices.
- 2-3 cups macaroni (quantity can be adjusted according to number of serving persons)
- salt (according to your taste)
- 1 finely chopped onion
- 1 finely chopped tomato
- 1 finely chopped capsicum
- 1 finely chopped carrot
- 1 tbsp beans
- 1 tbsp peas
- 1 tbsp red chili sauce
- 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
- processed cheese
- coriander leaves
- oil
Here is how to make it:
1. Heat water in a large pot. When the water starts boiling, add a tbsp of salt, 1/2 tbsp oil, and macaroni. Boil till macaroni are soft. Drain and toss with a tbsp of oil and keep aside.
3. Add red chili sauce, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, red chili flakes, salt, and processed cheese and cook for 2 minutes. Add the boiled pasta, lemon juice, and fresh coriander and mix well.
