Sure, everyone knows that a Moscow Mule is the OG drink for ginger beer. And trust us, absolutely no one here (aka me) is hating on them. But even though the Moscow Mule is *chef's kisses* (and I feel fancy AF when I sip on that copper mug), you can make so many other delicious cocktails with ginger beer.
Ginger beer adds a certain bite to any cocktail. The carbonation and spicy ginger combo complement even your least favorite liquor. Go classic with mules or a dark and stormy, or one of the options below you probably have never even thought of making before. TBH, I'm about to go buy rhubarb solely to make #10 on this list.
Mediterranean Mule
Mix 750 ml Vodka, ½ cup crushed pistachios, 1 tbsp. crushed green cardamom, 1 tsp. orange blossom water, 2 tbsp. honey, and muddled pomegranate seeds.
Let it sit and strain through coffee filter and bottle for use.
For the mule:
Add 2 oz. Mediterranean-infused vodka, ¾ oz. cranberry simple syrup, and ¾ oz. lime juice to a rocks glass with crushed ice. Top with 1 oz. ginger beer and garnish with orange blossom cranberries.
Hegemonic Stardom
Combine 1 ½ oz. Szechuan peppercorn infused Ford's Gin, ½ oz. Liquore Strega, ½ oz. ginger syrup, and ¾ oz. lemon juice to a glass. Stir to combine. Top with ginger beer and orange blossom mist. Garnish with a dried orange slice and lemongrass.
