Okra - 500 grams
Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
Ginger - 1 inch (grated)
Onion - 2 (finely chopped)
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Salt - as per taste
Red chili powder - as per taste
Oil - 3 tablespoons
Method
1. First wash and dry the okra and cut it into one inch long pieces.
2. Heat oil in a pan and fry cumin seeds.
3. Then add onion and ginger to it and cook on low heat.
4. Add okra, salt, turmeric powder and red chili powder to the prepared mixture and mix.
5. Cook the okra on low heat and turn off the gas.
6. Take your lady finger is ready. Serve it hot with roti, parantha or naan.
