CHEESE PARATHA

Ingredients

  • Lukewarm water:1/2 cup
  • Salt: for taste
  • All purpose flour: 2 cup
  • Oil: 1 full spoon
  • Butter or ghee: accordingly
  • Grated cheese: accordingly

Recipe

Mix salt and lukewarm water. Then add oil to the all purpose flour and mix well. To this flour oil mixture add water accordingly for that it attains a consistency for making parathas. Pull out a hand full of dough and make it into balls. Apply flour to these balls and roll it well into a thin fine paratha. Fold the corners so that cheese can be poured into the center of it. Apply the amount of cheese and then take a pan. Heat it well. Sauté butter on it accordingly and then cook until each side turns brown and surface become rough and fry. Serve them hot with some paneer curry. Now the delicious cheese paratha is ready.

GREEN PEAS PARATHA

Ingredients

Wheat flour: 2 cups

Salt: for taste

Oil: 1 small spoon

Water: 1 cup

Fresh green peas: 2 cup

Chat masala: 1 small spoon

Jeera powder: 1/2 small spoon

Chopped green chilly: 1 full spoon

Coriander leaves chopped: 2 big spoon full

Besan or gram flour (fried until it becomes brown and it's raw taste is no more): 2 big spoon full

Butter or Ghee: accordingly

Recipe

Mix wheat flour, salt, and oil. Add water accordingly so that it reaches a thick fine dough for paratha. By this time boil the green peas and wipe off the water content from it. Smash it well and add chat masala, jeera powder, green chillies and coriander leaves. Take a hand full of the dough prepared and sprinkle some flour on it and roll well so that it get a shape of paratha. Add the green peas mixture in the center of the paratha that we just made. (Amount of green peas mixture is up to your convenience, taste and the size of the paratha). Fold the paratha and roll it again so that it forms a spherical shape. And then again roll it into the shape of a paratha. Heat a pan by this time. Sauté the butter or ghee well and cook the paratha until both the sides attain brown color. Serve hot with tomato chutney.
