The Witcher is back with more footage from Season 2. After Geralt von Riva and Ciri, today it's Yennefer's turn, who is definitely still alive.
Although the start of season 2 of The Witcher is not even close at hand, Netflix has given us plenty of new insights into the coming episodes of the lavish fantasy series these days.
On Monday there were the first pictures to be seen showing Henry Cavill's Geralt von Rivia in new armor . Yesterday Ciri reported back, apparently in Kaer Morhen and training with a wooden sword .
Today follows a first look at the third main character in the group, namely Yennefer . Embodied by Anya Chalotra , she already led one of the three big storylines in the first round. Now it gets interesting to see how their story continues.
The fact that Geralt currently believes that Yennefer died at the Battle of Soddon is particularly exciting in Season 2 of The Witcher . Now he and Ciri are on the way to Kaer Morhen, the safest place he knows. The huge fortress is practically the headquarters of the witchers' guild.
Young students have been trained here for centuries, but it is questionable how the place has changed since Geralt last visited it. It quickly becomes clear that the witcher Ciri not only has to protect against the dangers that lurk outside the walls, but above all against those inside the fortress.
